February 9 Friday Fun Fellowship

EMS Wild Game and Hunting Enrichment Club students along with Ty Pattison, Asst. Principal and Caleb Lewis, SRO are coming to share how they have learned to hunt, dress and cook, fish and game! This is just one of the Enrichment Clubs started at EMS thanks to a Eudora Schools Foundation Grant.

Megan Poindexter, Senior Resource Center, guarantees a fun Love Languages presentation!

The Friday Fun Fellowship Trivia Guy, Matt Shirhill, CPRT, CPT has extra special fun in store.

Fit & Strong! Eudora Parks & Recreation’s newest program

Fit & Strong is designed for all senior adults seeking to stay physically active, especially those facing lower-extremity pain or mobility challenges.

In each session, participants will engage in a variety of activities, including stretching and flexibility exercises, aerobics, lower body strength training, and informative discussions on healthy habits.

 

Throughout the program, participants will monitor their progress, leaving with the tools and strategies needed for a more mobile, healthy, and happy lifestyle.

Here are the key details:

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11AM-12:30 PM

Where: Community Room

Price: FREE!

Session: February 1st – April 25th

Registration: Sign up at the Eudora Community Center front desk, in person, over the phone, or on our website at (www.eudoraparksandrec.org).
